Summer Safety Days 2017

KPSC coordinated another successful Summer Safety Days (SSD) this year. We were able to serve twenty-six (26) local elementary schools and over 1000 grade 7/8 students over the course of four (4) days. SSD was hosted by St. Lawrence College on May 1, 2, 3 and 4, 2017. The program involved eight (8) interactive pit stop stations where community leaders were given the chance to address the students on different injury prevention strategies, geared to preventing injuries associated with summer activities.
